Mixed ability yoga class on Wednesday evening beginning at 6-30 prompt

Venue: West Bridgford Infants school, George Rd, W.B.
This is behind the St Georges Medical Practice on Musters Road, about 700 yds from the cricket ground end of Musters Rd

The class is for 90 mins cost is as before at £7 . Childrens' normal school holidays are observed (so no classes). If in doubt about your abiliy phone me on 0115-9141422 and leave me a message. You may just turn up--you are not expected to pay for a course or keep regular attendance. Occasionally there will be  a short session of tai chi after the yoga session for those practising this ancient art.

Yoga and tai chi are for everyone--no one should exclude themselves on the grounds of an apparent inability to do what is required--the whole point is to come and LEARN how to do it--and get much healthier as a result. There is no exercise known that has greater benefit. All aspects of yoga are covered and regularly I will deeply examine some issue whether it is physical , emotional, spiritual, about breathing--whatever is appropriate. It is therefore not a predictable class!!

You will receive much philosophy and deep spiritual discussion in this class--if all you want is physical postures then it might be best to try elsewhere.Equally if what you want is fast and hot and sweaty yoga then you will not find this in my class. You will receive what I have termed deep yoga! You can buy my book with this title--from this web site.

Sometime around Sept/Oct 2009 my latest book will be published and will be available on Amazon. This is called Yoga-How and Why it Works. The latest promise by the publisher was 2 weeks--and that was two weeks ago --so please dont hold your breath!

I am often asked how many people attend the class--the school hall holds around 20 people comfortably , doing yoga. These days there may be this number or almost this number but it is more common for there to be about 14.

The other common reticence comes from men who assume that any yoga class will have ladies in leotards--forget leotards in my class--this class is for serious people intent upon emotional and spiritual change so fancy gear you will not find . You will find half men and half women--normal guys many of whom are professional athletes--yes the world is waking up to yoga!! I promise you that yoga done in the way I teach will lead to quieter mind, better performance, better sleep, lighter feeling--benefits too numerous to mention. Athletes especially  feel the benefits very quickly.
