I had no idea what I was letting myself in for when I started. At times it was hard, always enjoyable and very enlightening. I learned more about myself than I could have imagined was possible.

Andy Thomas Andy Thomas has been teaching yoga for over 20 years and founded Shanti Yoga School to bring detailed knowledge to yoga. He also founded Full Movement Method and FMTSchool which provides therapy training.
Venue: West Bridgford Infants school, George Rd, W.B. The class is for 90 mins and is followed bya further 90 min. session intended for those keen to progress and to examine details of their practice and for those wishing to meditate and examine pranayama practices in greater depth.You might refer to this as an advanced class-- this will alternate with tai chi fortnightly All are welcome to sample this amazing process. The yoga class cost is as before at £7 . If you decide to come for just the second part the cost is the same. If you wish to stay for the whole three hours the cost is £12. You can just turn up for any part of the 3 hours. Yoga and tai chi are for everyone--no one should exclude themselves on the grounds of an apparent inability to do what is required--the whole point is to come and LEARN how to do it--and get much healthier as a result. There is no exercise known that has greater benefit.All aspects of yoga are covered and regularly I will deeply examine some issue whether it is physical , emotional, spiritual, about breathing--whatever is appropriate. It is therefore not a predictable class!! |
